getting up at 3:30am is not usually my idea of fun

but i'd do it every day if i got to see this:



early this morning we went to the flower district in LA
and i was in peony heaven
can you tell?

they weren't what we went for at all
but i was determined to find a reason to bring some home
and luckily it just happened to be our dear friend, rosie's birthday
lucky me and lucky her!
