i guess that blog challenge wore me out because i haven’t
blogged in over a month! i needed a little break. but now i am back with
another mini blog challenge of sorts. my friend, linze, tagged me to post a picture of myself, tell 11
random facts about myself and answer 11 questions she asked me. so here it goes…

11 random facts about me:
1. i like lots of milk in my cereal and more peanut butter than
jelly on my sandwiches.
2. i hate veins. i actually call them “v’s” so i don’t even
have to say the word. wrist v’s are the absolute worst [i never learned how to
do the monkey bars because it makes them pop out and it’s disgusting] and if
anyone touches my wrist i want to die.
3. i once lived in harlem.
4. jason castro from american idol once wore a shirt i made
three days on a row while on tour. i am pretty sure that was my 15 minutes of
fame
5. public bathrooms make me gag if i even accidentally open my
mouth while in them. i have been known to drive the 10+ hours from california
to utah without taking a bathroom break.
6. the sun makes me sneeze.
7. i danced all 4 years of high school and took classes for two
years in college but you will never get me to dance in public now.
8. driving is like my least favorite thing to do ever.
9. i am one of those people you make fun of [even i do!] when
you pass in the car because you can tell they are singing at the top of their
lungs. if i am alone in the car there is a serious concert going on at all
times.
10. i think pants are overrated. there comes a time every day
that i just can’t go on if i have to wear them another second.
11. i am the oldest of all my siblings but everyone thinks i am
the youngest.
questions she asked me:
1. what is your best
childhood memory and why?
when i was in first or second grade we had a huge earthquake
in california. because it was so bad and we didn’t know if there would be more,
my entire cul-de-sac had a huge group sleepover with fire pits, sleeping bags,
etc in our driveways for the rest of the night. and since our power was out the
rest of the week, we got to have group bbqs to get rid of everyone’s frozen
food that would have gone bad. i probably should have been scared but it was so
exciting.
2. if you could swap
places with anyone in the world for a day, who would you swap places with?
eva mendes…you know, since she is dating ryan gosling. just
kidding.. i can’t think of anyone better though.
3. describe your dream
vacation
somewhere not too cold, not too humid and has normal food
and people with accents. and also somewhere that i can plug my straightener in without breaking something [oh, europe].
4. would you rather stay
in or go out on a friday night?
stay in [unless it is out with just one person]! fridays are for recovering from the week!
5. what is the one song
that always makes you want to dance?
toxic by britney spears. so dumb but it reminds me of a
dance from high school.
6. if you could change
one thing about yourself, would you? what would it be and why?
umm i wouldn’t have dyed my hair black when i did…or blonde
when i did. does that count? it was not a pretty sight.
7. what is your favorite
“adulthood” memory to date?
i think when i found out i got into the new york internship
program. i worked so hard and wanted it so badly and to find out i got in was
the most exciting thing ever.
8. if you had to finish
out the rest of your life with no feet or no hands, which would you choose and
why?
probably no feet because i like to make things using my
hands.
9. favorite movie quote?
ooh OOH! –baby mama. it’s not my favorite quote but it is
the most used in my family for sure.
10. if you could be a
character in any book, what character [and from what book] would you choose to
be?
tina fey. because she wrote a book about herself so that counts [bossypants is the book].
11. favorite ice cream?
my great-grandma’s homemade strawberry ice cream. it is the
best thing you will ever taste. ever!
