favorite teacher
i have had so many great teachers over the years that that it was hard to choose just one. but my fourth grade teacher, ms. gauger, was amazing. fourth
grade was easily the most fun year in all of elementary school.
we celebrated may day, the gold rush, learned all about the earth, the rainforest, california and missions…and we had an iguana as a class pet! we went panning for gold, made our own beef jerky, candles, ecosystems, may pole, and a giant tree in the corner of our classroom. that year i also got way into recycling and saving endangered animals…all because of ms. gauger. she got me so excited about learning and exploring, and was always thinking of new ways to make learning fun.
