For years now September 11th has been a day to remember.
But this year was different from the rest.
And one year later we are still celebrating the amazing life of one of my favorite people in the world. And remembering. Remembering how lucky I am to have had such a wonderful, fun, loving uncle who took such good care of me when I was here in Utah and my family was in California. Remembering when I would pretend to fall asleep so he would carry me upstairs to put me in my top bunk-bed (and let's be honest, I was no small child), swapping new music, when he would change my guitar strings, him playing the guitar at my baptism-even though he didn't want to, random phone calls to check in on me, helping me move into my new apartment on the third floor, him getting really excited when he thought I might have a new love interest,
and a million other little things I have missed this last year.
